MIKE SCOTT

Mike has a background as a sportsman and is also a fitness and Spinning instructor. He has a great knowledge of the body and how to get the most efficient use out of it in sports and in rehab. He has great compassion as a teacher, and knows how to challenge, respect and enlighten whoever he is teaching.

From a fanatical sporting family, Mike played county schools’ rugby union, cricket and hockey for Somerset. Whilst at university he played international rugby league for Scotland Students and represented London Skolars in the National Conference League. A disc injury took Mike away from rugby and into marathon running, cycling, triathlon, fitness and sports coaching and Spinning instructing, as well as Pilates.

Mike trained as a comprehensive (mat and equipment) Pilates teacher through BASI (Body Arts and Science International) in 2015. He has been part of the BASI UK Faculty team since 2020, training students to become teachers.

MICHELLE DARRACOTT

Michelle has always kept very active as a counterbalance to a sedentary role in the City. Over the years she has enjoyed competing in triathlons, long distance swims and half marathons. She started her Pilates journey around 5 years ago to address postural issues, alignment and to promote more global strength. Having enjoyed Pilates so much, she completed the BASI (Body Arts and Science International) Comprehensive Teacher Training Programme. She combines her passion for Pilates with her other calling, which is closing the gender pensions gap and is widely recognised as an innovator in pensions and investments in the UK. She enjoys giving the gift of movement to clients and helping them to work towards specific goals or manage particular issues.
